This is a good website. I did not know there were so many things that a person had to be qualified for to even be in a jury. I have never been asked to do jury duty, but some of my friends have. What was interesting to me was one of my friends got out of jury duty because he was in school at the time. Our court house in my hometown wasn't very far away from where he was going to school, but somehow he got out of it. I also don't remember him having to write a letter to the clerk to ask for the permission to get out of jury duty. But, it is a small town so maybe it was overlooked.
I would love to participate in a jury sometime, because then I would be able to see all of the aspects of the court and the trial and hopefully help someone out of a wrongful conviction or put a murderer in jail.
