After reading through a few journal and news articles, it appears as though, Miranda Rights are not only becoming a hot topic in the daily news, but also in Psychology and Law Journals. The biggest issue of debate centering on terrorist’s that the Obama Administration has been Mirandizing.
For those who don’t know Miranda rights were mandated in 1966 by the Supreme Court in Miranda v. Arizona, citing the Fifth-Amendment which protects criminal suspect's Fifth right to avoid coercive self-incrimination. It is the commonly heard phrase:

“You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to speak to an attorney, and to have an attorney present during any questioning. If you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be provided for you at government expense.

Many American’s and even many members of congress are very upset that terrorist’s are being read and given the rights of an American Citizen. This article touches on many of these aspects.
