I was always very interested in this case, and thought how amazing it was that after 19 years of missing, they actually found her. I posted a link to the story below, for anyone else who is interested in it. On the last page, they also mention several other cases of kidnappings, that if you type their names into google, you can also read further into their stories as well.
Here's the link to the story: http://abcnews.go.com/US/story?id=8426124&page=1

This article was really good! I watched the video and couldn't believe that the kidnappers just took her and her step father saw the whole thing! They had the car and that it was a man and a woman that took her yet they couldn't find them.
I wanted to learn more about Jaycee and what she looked like today after all these years. I found out that people magazine had some of the first photos of her now, and an interview. Here is the link if anyone is interested in that.

This case reminds me of another one I was interested in. 15 year old Elizabeth Smart was abducted from her home in Utah in the summer of 2002. She was found the next March, a lot sooner than Jaycee was found. The thing I find interesting about this case is that, unlike in Jaycee Duggard's case, the kidnappers took Elizabeth out and about with them. Here's an article on CNN from when Elizabeth was found.
