I found this article. Researchers found that eye movements can show when a person can't remember something. For example, if a person is shown a picture of someone they recognize but don't recall their name, their eyes move more than if they're shown a picture of someone they don't know at all.

The research on how our eyes move to recall a certain event is believable because we do the same thing when we are telling the truth or thinking up a lie on the spot. We look up to the right or left when were either lying or telling the truth. Yes, that's two different areas but it involves how your eyes move and how you access your memory or creativity of the brain when they do. I know I tend to look up to the right when I'm taking a test and I usually get the answer right but if I'm just looking up and thinking for too long of a time I tend to guess and get the answer wrong.
