The video is entitled death. There are many little boxes- each containing a deadly scene from a Hitchcok movie. The boxes become blank as the person dies and evenually the whole screen is blank. These creates a whole experience of "death". In my opinion, this is Gestalt Psychology. Looking at how the individual clips create the whole.
What I also think is interesting is the sound from the video. At first there is a combination of the noise. However as the video goes on-and the box goes blank-the sound from the clip also fades. At the end there is only one individual sound.
I definitely think that Gestalt Psychology is present in this video. I noticed the gestalt grouping laws especially when the video first begins. The videos that are in color group together and the videos that are in black and white group together.
