"I hate telling people that I'm from Wisconsin because the first thing they say is, "You must love cheese huh?". You know there's more shit to Wisconsin than cheese jackass, our milk is pretty good too."
A great site - http://ruminations.com/site/?sort=newest&range=0&startnum=71
So, I thought Twitter was good until I visited this site. I think it's completely amazing. I love being able to read the weird, hilarious stuff that other people have in their heads. Some of these things are funny because they are highly social and relatable. I can put myself in the situations and that is cognitively pleasing and creates mirth. Other ruminations are funny because they are so random and create incongruity.
I actually thought this was humorous because of playing this game as a child (and still today over the "fairness" in situations- for example, where should we go to eat? Let's play rock, paper, scissors to decide). There is obvious incongruity here, because it requires resolution to "get" this joke. If the person who views this does not understand the game, then this will not be funny. Looking at the person and the objects combined with the "Competition" between rock, paper, scissors makes a resolution between the situation possible.
