Ha Ha ha! I think this comic is funny. Almost everyone is familiar with the game, "rock, paper, scissors," so it's easy to understand and relate to the comic. I think what is most funny about this comic is we never look at the rock, paper, scissors, as a "fight" between the objects. The game is usually intended for purposes of entertainment or as a decision maker between humans. There is a big social aspect in this particular joke because so many people are familiar with the "rock, paper, scissors" game. I really liked this one!!
Yes it's funny. I love the play on the classic game with the punk rock art style. I can't honestly say exactly what about it makes me laugh but I think it's cause it reminds me of something you would see at Hot Topic. I think a lot of the time we try to verbalize why we find things funny, and I think this takes the emphasis off of a lot of nonverbal stimuli.
