On my birthday in 1934 Allen Bergin was born. Bergin was a famous psychologist who specialized in values concerning psychotherapy. Because of this specialized area concerning values he had many run-ins with Albert Ellis, who is supposed to have been an atheist. Allen Bergin grew up with no particular faith he held on to. During his college years his roommate and girlfriend who were Mormon, had a big influence on him and he became attached to that particular faith. He particularly specialized in psychotherapy and was a distinguished expert in the field.
