What is driving this behavior?

How would you explain this behavior using the ABCs of Behavior Modification?

The antecedant for the flipping out behavior could be any (or some or all) of several factors. Alcohol is an obvious candidate since this happened over spring break. Conditioning from previous instances of emitting this behavior is another possibility, as is a snide remark by the employee at whom the flip-out seems to be directed.

The behavior is obviously flipping out and starting a brief riot in Burger King.

The consequents are a combination of the external stimuli (the crowd noise, other people joining in and showing their approval, etc.) and the adrenaline rush that probably accompanied this behavior. All of this together was probably (positively) reinforcing.

I think there's another way to look at this as well: rather than one behavior of "flipping out", it can be broken down into a series of behaviors that build up to a flip-out. So alcohol or past conditioning or a snide remark from the cashier could be the antecedant of the first behavior in the series, and the social reinforcement for this behavior functions as an antecedant, eliciting more extreme behavior, for which she is again reinforced. Mob mentality like this could be explained using successive approximations where the full-blown freakout is a string of ABCs.

This is probably the best comment ever. Replying to see if it sends me an email notification...

First off...wow.

In this situation, the antecedent for this behavioral response isn't really known, but it could be a number of things. Alcohol consumption, to snide/insulting comment, perhaps no service because she was in a swimsuit, a past history of loss of anger control and quiet a few other possibilities.

The obvious behavior emitted, is the young woman's blow up and rampage within Burger King.

The consequences, like the antecedent could be a great many. An employee or onlooker could have called the cops and she could have been charged with something; categorized as a punishment. Banning her from the Burger King as well could be a consequence. The cheering of the crowd of friends and customers could serve as a reinforcing consequence.

In brief summery:
Antecedent = alcohol consumption/ insulting comment etc. leading to the...
Behavior = of blowing up and starting a riot resulting in...
Consequence = arrested/ baning, cheering and encouragement for more of the emitted behavior

Holy-Moly!
Who knows what the antecedent is here. It could be anything. Mistake on order. Cold food. Disrespect. Cheating boyfriend behind counter working. A Dare. Intoxication. Many things could be the antecedent leading this girl to act in such a awesful manner. I hope she got arrested as a consequence. Her elevation from yelling to throwing things may be due to the consequence of her behavior being reinforced by all the on-lookers in the store. Some are laughing and encouraging her in her behavior so the antecedent then becomes attention for the behavior causing her to increase it.

As stated in the other comments above, the Antecendent could really be a number of things here. Lets just choose disrespect from employee to customer. Now since this happened over Spring Break it is safe to say that alcohol could have been a reinforcing impliment in the situation. When alcohol is consumed it makes people think that they are invincible or gives a false sense of courage to the consumer. After the emitted behavior of disrespect is emitted by an employee of Burger King, the customer goes on a fit of rage. The alcohol would reinforce this fit of rage because instead of social norms, and conscience stepping in telling this young woman that maybe it isnt a good idea to start an uproar in the Burger King and to just handle the situation calmly, the complete opposite happens. Now this is probably a totally stereotypical comment and no offense to anyone who reads this comment but usually African Americans are very opinionated and the majority of people in the video (as it seems) are African American. After the fit of rage starts to happen, other onlookers start to reinforce the woman's behavior as well, which in this situation, helps the woman in her effort to tell off the workers but not helping the store or workers themselves. SO putting this whole paragraph into more simpiler terms:

Antecedent: Rude comment/alcohol consumption/disrespect from employee

Behavior: mini riot/total attitude blow up

Consequence: store distruction/arrested/group of onlookers join in on riot

Oh my gosh, this video is horrible!! I have always worked in the food industry and kept thinking to myself while watching this, who in their right mind would act like they did? I have no idea what I would do if I was one of the workers there. I agree with what other people have been saying about the antecedent. It is difficult to tell what is driving these behaviors, but I think a lot of it is alcohol.
A= alcohol consumption
B= getting up onto the counter
C= banned from the store/or getting arrested
Another possible antecedent was being egged on by her friends. I still am having difficulty trying to determine whether or not this is positive or negative. I'm not sure if this correct, but I imagine this as being a reinforcement because nobody is stopping her. The behavior is increasing because she takes everything a step farther. I'm not sure about whether it is positive or negative. If I took a guess, I would say positive because she is adding more behaviors to what she is already doing. Not quite sure though.

This is such a crazy video! It's amazing how people's behavior change when they consume some alcoholic beverages.
A=having consumed alcohol these people go to a Burger King to order food but are clearly upset/offended by the employee taking the order.
B= yelling at the employees and destroying the restaurant.
C= this could go either way. It could be positive reinforcement since all the people were cheering them on when they destroyed the store and they might want to do it again after that. It also could be punishment if the people were arrested for their behavior which would lead to them never doing it again.

Haha... comedy! wish I could have been there for this one! At BK they always say you can have it your way... apparently things weren't quite going her way. The Antecedent in this classy case is probably excessive alcohol consumption prior to entering BK, she probably didn't recieve the best service that you would expect from an upscale place like a Burger King. The antecedent clearly made her act irratically and the behavior she emitted was physical assault. As a consequence to her actions she either got arrested for starting a riot (food fight) and another consequence was that none of those people were able to enjoy thier meals or get food at all! what a shame, but entertaining to say the least!

It was a little difficult to understand why this behavior started, but I think the reason it progressed so quickly was because of the "audience". When people are encouraged by others in a situation they are more likely to do more than what they would if they were alone. The antecedent could be many things such as the comment made by the employee or being drunk which made the "bikini babe" angered easily. The behavior was the fight itself, elicited by the employee for whatever he said to make her mad, and emitted by the spring breaker for acting on the fight. The consequence was vandalizing Burger King while threatening the employees.

First off this is just beyond what should be happening no matter what the antecedent is. The antecedent is not known but it is very possibe to be many things!

Antecedent = alcohol consumption/ insulting comment/ cheating boyfriend etc.
which lead to
Behavior = of blowing up and starting a riot along with throwing Burger Kings items around
resulting in...
Consequence = arrested and or baning, also cheering and encouragement which allowed her to emmit more of her behavior

Wow I don't know how someone can flip out so much in such a public place in the first place. I feel that this is a behavior case that has many aspects to it. I also have to agree that there is most likely many antecedents that have can occur there. Bad order, didn't get correct order, food was cold, and alcohol consumption. Any of these antecedents could have lead the the behavior. The behavior in this case it the riot and the blowing up reaction of the lady. She started throwing the food and screaming at the cashier. The consequence was probably most likely being kicked out of the restaurant or being arrested. But it was also enforced by the cheers and encouragement from the crowd and bystanders.

Wow-

There are many thing that could have been the antecedent. This would include anything from alcohol-since someone in the video stated it was spring break, wrong order (or mess up on order)boyfriend/ mistress of her boyfriend (in this case I'm guess it would hopefully be ex-boyfriend after that. What ever the antecedent was it led to her flipping out and causing a riot in the fast food place which could lead to many consequence such as being arrested or being banned from that place.
I was surprised on how quickly it esculated and then how quickly it was over. I think it esculated so quickly because of the people around cheering her on or laughing making her continue her reaction and maybe to put on more of a show she brought it up a level by jumping on the counter and throwing punches at people. This was differently an interesting video.

These people are crazy. Well, many things could have elicted this behavior. I'll give a few possibilities.

A being hungry
B ordering food
c being denied service

A wanting ice cream
b ordering a shake
c the shake machine is out of order--no ice cream for you

a wanting fast food
b asking rudely for food
c worker spits in your food

I'm not even fully sure what was happening in the video because it was all over the place, it just looked like a lot of anger and hostility. Almost anything could have caused it and the crowd was reinforcing them to continue the behavior.

The antecedent could either involve drugs or alcohol or being hungry or a combination of all the above. The behavior is being disorderly and the consequence would be gettin kicked out and arrested. There are many possiblities for this video. I wish I knew what exactly caused the fight or if she is just a mean drunk haha.

this is crazy, but what is driving this behavior could be a number of things. Like the people said before me, alcohol was probably one of the biggest culprits because it's spring break. For instance, the antecedent could have been being disrespected while drunk, the behavior would have been her outrageous rampage, and the conseuquence could be a number of things-- the burger king is wrecked, and I'm sure she'll face charges/has faced them.
